All elements appearing on our website are protected under the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code. Subject to the section “Dictionaries: openly licensed content” below, any reproduction, in whole or in part, or imitation, without Erosophia's prior express written consent, is prohibited.
It is strictly forbidden to collect or exploit for commercial purposes the content that belongs to Erosophia: preparation courses and tests, answer keys, audio recordings, editorial text, screen layouts, logos, images, photos and graphics. This prohibition does not extend to the dictionary data, which is governed by the section below.
Dictionaries: openly licensed content
By way of exception to the “Copyright and intellectual property” section above, the data of the French dictionary and of the English dictionary is not subject to the restrictions set out there.
Both dictionaries are derived from Wiktionnaire and Wiktionary, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution — ShareAlike 4.0 and the GFDL. They remain governed by that licence, which permits reproduction, modification and commercial use, on three conditions: credit the source, state the licence and link to its terms, and release any derivative work under the same licence.
Attribution requires a link to the contributor history of each entry used, in the form https://en.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=<word>&action=history.
