This free sample contains Part 1 of the speaking test.
In the full test there are five marked sections across four parts, and it lasts approximately 16 minutes.
Listen carefully and please speak when you are instructed.
First there is a short practice question which is not marked.
The timer will show you how long you have to give your answer.
You will need a microphone. Headphones are strongly recommended.
Now click on the Start button to continue.
Before you start
Check your headphones and your microphone now. You cannot change these settings once the test has started.
Play the sample and adjust the volume until you can hear it clearly.
Start the test, allow access when your browser asks, then speak normally. The meter should react to your voice.
