Entry
Léon Blum — Leader of the Popular Front, 1872–1950
A literary critic who became, through the Dreyfus Affair, Jaurès’s heir at the head of French socialism: the first socialist — and first Jew — to head the government, the man of paid holidays. Tried at Riom by Vichy, he turned the accusation on his judges; deported to Buchenwald, he returned and served again. (Editorial synthesis)

When a piece of information is not in that collection, the encyclopedia says so rather than inventing it — that principle is what makes every answer it does give trustworthy.
