Camille Claudel — Sculptor, 1864–1943
Noticed as a child by a passing sculptor and trained in Paris from 1881, she worked in Auguste Rodin’s studio, from whom she parted in 1892. Committed at her family’s request in 1913, she spent the last thirty years of her life in a psychiatric hospital and died without her death being noticed. (Editorial synthesis)

When a piece of information is not in that collection, the encyclopedia says so rather than inventing it — that principle is what makes every answer it does give trustworthy.
