A seven-question written mini-test — one per official question type — and a short oral interview, available without an account or subscription.
Their layout is modelled on the CLOE platform: instructions as on the official platform (in French on the French site), a time bar per question, two plays per extract, a virtual evaluator for the oral.
Start here to discover the format and check that it suits you, before the full preparation.
💡 Use a headset with a microphone for listening and for the interview.
/ Tips
Go through the five chapters in order: the first presents the certification (CCI France, RS7667, CPF, levels A1-C2), the next ones detail the written test, its seven question types, the oral interview and its five criteria, then how to read the statement of results.
💡 Come back before each practice test to refresh the instructions and the traps.
your field 11 fields
In the oral interview, the role-play and the discussion are based on the specialisation you choose when you register. Open the page for your field: key phrases sorted by function, extra vocabulary, traps for French speakers, a role-play and a discussion with audio model answers, and a quiz.
💡 Learn five key phrases a day and reuse them aloud in the role-play before you take a practice interview.
Professional English vocabulary, by theme (company, meetings, emails, phone, trade, logistics, HR, finance, health…) and by level, with your personal lists.
Select the words to remember: tick the box to the left of a word to add it to one of your lists, then work on them from your dashboard.
exercises 6 sets
Lists are forgotten unless they are tested. Each 8-question set uses a real CLOE written-test format: workplace English, collocations, phrasal verbs, expressions. Review a list from the Vocabulary chapter, then do the matching set.
Work through the 11 chapters. They cover the essential concepts for listening and for the interview's “pronunciation and intonation” criterion.
- Do all the exercises to consolidate what you learn.
Twenty chapters covering the essential rules of English grammar, each with a corrected quiz. Start with the points you find difficult, then check yourself with the chapter quiz.
question type
Practise each of the seven question types of the written test, competence by competence and level by level (A1 to C2), before taking a full adaptive test.
For the oral, work on one part at a time — introduction questions, role-play, discussion — with the virtual evaluator and an AI assessment on the five official criteria.
💡 Repeat the same question type until you are comfortable with its timer.
practice tests ×10
Ten full tests. The written test is adaptive, as in the format described by the candidate guide: 50 questions in five competences, the difficulty adjusts to your answers and you get a CEFR level per competence.
The three-part oral interview adapts to your specialisation and to the job you describe; an AI assesses it on the five official criteria.
Recommended protocol:
- Set your target CEFR level (A2 minimum for the certificate).
- Take the written test, then the oral of the same test.
- Read the statement of results, work on your weak points in training, then take another test. 💪
