The price of an illicit drug sold on the street (i.e., on the black market); the price of any illicit thing sold in this way (such as stolen goods being fenced).

  • At the time, the street value of a kilo of cocaine had recently risen to half again the former price, as enforcement cracked down on the supply.
  • It is hard to estimate the street value of the stolen goods, as such values are constantly shifting as circumstances change, but police estimated that it could not be less than forty thousand dollars.
